Well the day that all motorcycle riders dread, the crash; happen to me on Oct 29 2008 while riding my new 2008 Honda CBR1000RR. Started out as a normal ride to work, on a road that i ride about 3-4 times a month. While making a right turn from one road onto another the rear end decided it wanted to beat the front end around (the rear tire started sliding on some dirt in the turn) and it won, I lost and this is the end result of a 25-30mph low side. I walked away with a couple bruises and that was it no road rash or broken bones. My helmet, riding jacket and uniform paints took all punishment the road could dish out like a champ. Here is the end result of my CRASH DAY.
Like they say 'Their are two types of riders the ones that have crashed and the ones the will" I don't know who said that but all riders have heard it many times before.
Oh, yea insurance is going to fix the bike so far the adjuster listed the repair bill at $3200 subject to change after it gets to the shop for repairs but that will be covered also. I will also get another $400 for my helmet on top of the bike bill, not to bad for a 2 year old helmet(but that will not cover the replacement of my helmet because it was a Rossi Replica that still goes for 550-600.)

The adjuster listed a total of 46 pieces/parts that need to be replaced and that is not counting the screws, nuts, bolts and decal/stickers needed to make repairs.
