Sapo running and driving alittle

"Sapo" My 1949 Plymouth 4dr Special Delux

Here is my 1949 Plymouth that was gifted to me from my Dad. He and Lovey named the car Sapo, it fits the car and my kids like the name so it will stay named Sapo. I cleaned up a few bits on the car and i will show the before and after of the parts that were cleaned. I can't wait to get it here in Az so that i can start working on it. I am goining to resto-mod the '49, plans are for a SRT-8 engine and gearbox should be around 425hp with a 5 speed auto gearbox. A/C a must in AZ and a few other bits and parts to make it a daily driver with the comfort/power for LONG road trips. anyways here are the picts

Before a quick polish
Only the top rib on the grill (hood) was cleaned with mothers chrome polish and only for a couple min i.e a very fast polish, with some time and done right will look almost new.

Before

after windex and paper towel only very clean

Gauges were cleaned, windex and paper towel only too

same here windex and paper towel only did not use chrome polish yet!!
Thats all for now I will keep the pict's comming after the car gets here and the progress on the car will be updated during the process
